Lavenham by Lantern Light - Lavenham Guildhall, Saturday 11 November, Friday 17 November, Saturday 25 November.  See the medieval village of Lavenham in a whole new light on a Lantern Walk.  The beautiful timberframed buildings will come alive as you listen to the history of the village.  Start 6.30pm - 8pm.  Tel: 08442 491895.

Christmas Fayre at Sutton Hoo - Saturday 11 November.  The perfect opportunity to do some Christmas shopping.  Lots of crafts, gifts, food gifts and festive music.  Chilren can also visit Santa for storytelling.

Wetheringsett Victorian Chrstmas Fayre - Saturday 18 November, Mid Suffolk Light Railway, Hall Lane, Wetheringsett, IP14 5PN. 11am - 3pm.  Fun for the whole family, steam train rides, drive for a tenner and a variety of gift and refreshment stalls.

Christkindlmarket Christmas Market, Saturday 18 November, 10am - 4pm, Preston Manor Barn, Lavenham Road, Preston St Mary.  The 20th annual traditional German Christkindmarkt, specialising in a diversity of high quality gifts.  Refreshments, £150 cash prize draw.  £3 admission on the door.

Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre - 23rd - 26th November.  Annual Christmas Fayre featuring over 200 festive stalls with live music and festive fun for all the family.

Clare Christmas Fair - Friday 24 November - Saturday 25 November, 5-8pm, 10am-4pm, St Peter and St Paul's Church, High Street, Clare.  Showcases a selection of gifts decorations, crafts and Christmas produce all in the atmospheric candlelit surroundings of the church.
