Bures Music Festival - 5 July - 9 July.  The festival sees acts from all genres, from rock to blues, pop to choral and jazz.   Tickets £45 in advance, adult 5 day pass, £20 for teens and children aged 11 years and under £5.  Camping £15 www.buresmusicfestival.com.

Music in the Gardens - Sunday 9 July, Helmingham Hall Gardens, IP14 6EF.  Relax to beautiful music in the picturesque gardens at Helmingham Hall. 

The Bildeston Brocante - Sunday 9 July, 10am - 2pm, The Square, Market Place, Bildeston, IP7 7EN.  A French style market for home and garden accessories, collectables and vintage clothing.  A Frence cafe will provide refreshments.

Vintage Afternoon Tea at Helmingham Hall - Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday between 3pm and 5pm.  Treat yourself to afternoon tea in The Coach house Tearooms in the beautiful surroundings of Helmingham Hall Gardens.  Pre-booking is required.  £15 per person or £20 per person including a visit to the gardens.

Latitude Festival - 13th - 16th July.  Suffolk's biggest Music Festival.  Returning for its 12th year at Henham Park, near Southwold.  Great music, art, poetry, literature, comedy, dance, food and drink.  This year's headlines include Mumford and Sons, Fleet Foxes and The 1975.

Ipswich - You'll be Surprised - Friday 14 July, 2.15pm.  Ipswich Tourist Guides Association, St Stephens Church, St Stephens Lane, Ipswich, IP1 1DP.  Ipswich Tourist Guides provide a fascinating range of guided walks for the public around the town.  Ticket prices £4 per person lasting around 90 minutes.

Woodbridge Regatta and Riverside Fair - Sunday 16 July, Woodbridge IP12 1BY.  This year's Woodbridge Regatta and fair takes place along the river from The Tide Mill to the Deben Yacht Club - 12pm - 5.15pm.

Felixstowe Carnival - The seaside town of Felixstowe celebrates Seaside Traditions at this year's carnival on Saturday 22 July.  1pm traditional procession moving through the town to the seafront.  The weekend concludes on Sunday with a spectacular Fireworks display from 10pm off the beach.

Jimmy's Festival - 22 and 23 July.  Jimmy's Farm Wherstead. The festival is a celebration of live music, local produce and family fun.  Tickets on sale at www.jimmysfestival.co.uk

Theatre in the Forest - Red Rose Chain presents Shakespeare's As You Like It - Jimmy's Farm Pannington Hll Lane, IP9 2AP.  Wednesday 26 July to Sunday 27 August.  One of Shakespeare's most bewitching comedies set in the magical woodlands of Jimmy's Farm.  Tickets from £10 - £25.

The Snape Maltings Vintage and Makers Market - Sunday 30 July, 9.30am - 4pm, Snape Maltings, Snape, IP17 1SP.  A hand-picked choice selection of the regions leading vintage traders, local artisans, makers and craftspeople.

A Taste of Suffolk Pork and Apples - Sunday 30 July, Long Melford Swan, Hall Street, Long Melford, CO10 9JQ.  Live music, garden bar, cocktails, cider, garden games and food.
