Lavenham Guildhall - Spinning Demonstrations - 3 August. Visit Lavenham Guildhall on one of the spinning Thursdays and see volunteers in action demonstrating the traditional art of spinning.

Melford Hall - Melford Hall's Railway Walk - Saturday 5 August. A guided walk taking in some railway history as well as the natural beauty of the Suffolk countryside.

Real Ale and Oyster Festival - Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 August, The Anchor, Main Street, Walberswick. Walberswick is definitely worth a day out and why not combine it with the festival with live music, oysters, ale and food.
Guided Tour of Clare Castle and Clare Castle Country Park - Saturday 5 August, 11am - 12.30pm. Visit the remains of the Norman castle built by the founder of the de Clare family and also the beautiful village of Clare.

The Festival of Classic and Sports Cars - Helmingham Hall Gardens, Helmingham IP14 6EF - Sunday 6 August, 10am - 5pm. There will be 100's of cars on display, as well as the chance to visit the beautiful Hall and gardens.

Flatford Ramble - Constable's Footsteps - Saturday 19 August, 1pm until 4pm. Flatford, East Bergholt, CO7 6UL.
